Privacy Policy

The short version

• We collect as little as possible.
• We never sell your data, and we never use it for ads.
• Health results are shared person to person, only by your choice, and expire.
• Delete your account and your data goes with it.

What we collect

• Account: your phone or email and your date of birth (to confirm you are 18+).
• Plans: the plans you make, the person you invite (their name and phone or email, which you give us to send the invite), times, places and notes.
• Calendar: if you connect a calendar, we only read free/busy times. We never read event names, details or attendees.
• Optional health sharing: if you choose to share a result, a patient portal (like MyChart) link or a file, it is encrypted and only the person you choose can open it, until the link expires or you revoke it.
• Basic usage: things like which features are used and crash reports, so we can fix and improve the app.

What we do not collect or do

• No browsing of other users. There is no public profile.
• No payments between users. If you buy Premium, payment is handled by our payment processor, and we never see your full card number.
• No selling or renting of data. No ad tracking.
• We do not read your shared health files for any purpose.

Sharing between partners

Anything you send to the other person (results, links, photos, notes) is shared only because you chose to share it, and only with them. They must accept. You can revoke access at any time. Please never share anyone else's private images or information without their consent.

Discreet mode

You can disguise the app name and icon, show calendar events as "Meeting," hide notification previews and lock the app with a PIN or Face ID.

Children

HuckMePlease is for adults 18+ only and is not for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we delete it.

How long we keep data

Plans are kept while your account is active. Shared health links and files are deleted when they expire or are revoked. When you delete your account, we delete your data, except anything we are legally required to keep.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Health files use additional encryption so they can only be opened by the person you shared them with.

Your choices

You can export or delete your data at any time from the Privacy tab.
